THICK, BROWN POEMS #2.

THE FISHERMAN’S WIFE

I made a stain

from things i didn’t say

I forged a cave

and steered my boat away.

It turns on a lonely sea.

The leak is slow,

and when my boat sinks,

when my roof comes down,

the only pain i will feel

is the bite

on my tongue.
